Spring has sprung in Kingston, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy this May. For nature lovers, May is the perfect time to explore the city’s many parks and gardens. Take a Sunday stroll through Bill Robb Barriefield Rock Garden or go for a scenic hike through one of Kingston’s many trails. History buffs will enjoy touring Fort Henry National Historic Site of Canada, a 19th-century British military fortress. And for those who want to learn more about the city’s rich culture, there are several museums and art galleries to discover. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, there’s something for everyone! Touch the Truck
A free & fun event bought to you by the South Frontenac Fire & Rescue, the Public Services Department, Frontenac OPP, Frontenac Paramedic Services, and Southern Frontenac Community Service. It will take place on Wednesday, May 4th from 5 to 7 p.m at 2490 Keeley Road in Sydenham. This event is hosted during Emergency Preparedness week and features educational information, children’s activities, and big trucks + equipment to explore. Just For Laughs Comedy Night in Canada
Live at the Grand Theatre on May 9th and 10th. This show is hosted by comedy legend Rick Mercer who will be leading a line-up of Canada’s most entertaining comedians! Open Studio Artists Exhibition at the Tett Centre

Art After Dark 2022
Galleries and art-loving businesses in downtown will be showcasing some of the best art Kingston has to offer. Treetop Trekking 1000 Islands
The Treetop Trekking adventure park is opening in the beautiful 1000 Islands region between Kingston and Brockville this spring on May 14th. Fort Henry
This beautiful historic site reopens May 21st. Discover history come to life as military interpreters recreate the sights and sounds of the past. You can explore the historical site filled with more than 30 historic rooms and museum exhibits. They also offer 1 hour guided tours for a more enriched experience. Upper Canada Village
