An Article Created by the Quaresma Realty Group

As of January 31, Ontario will gradually ease restrictions, just in time for us to enjoy February! We can now dine in at our favourite restaurants, watch movies at our local cinemas, test our luck at the casinos, and get back to our regular routines at the gym. What are you most looking forward to this month? Read along for this month’s edition of Out & About in Kingston.

Downtown Kingston is truly magical this time of year and has turned into our own little winter wonderland. This month’s list of things to do includes fun and interactive outdoor activities. This is a great month for us to enjoy the outdoors and support our local restaurants and shops who have been hit hard throughout the pandemic. Head downtown with the family to check out these activities, shop small & local, and grab a warm meal at your favourite spot.

IMPULSE! Introducing a series of illuminated see-saws in Springer Market Square running until February 21st. This large-scale interactive sound and light display is great for the whole family! Be sure to check out Kingston’s newest attraction, go for a skate in the square, grab a warm beverage from Kingston Coffee House (the raspberry white hot chocolate is to die for!), and finish off with a tasty Beavertail.

Skating at Springer Market Square: The public rink remains open until 10 pm every night, dependant on temperature. For live footage and to see how busy the rink is before you head down, you can visit the live webcam here.

Kingstonlicious: enjoy mouth-watering prix fixe specials from a collection of some of Kingston’s favourite restaurants for just $45. For information on this event and what restaurants are participating, click here.
